About Citizen Rain

In tech-savvy Western Washington, there's a Web site for just about everything. Different interests. Even different neighborhoods. But finding these sites -- or finding time to visit them all -- is just about impossible.

That's why we built Citizen Rain. We divided up more than 330 local blogs and news sites by communities and topics. So it's easy to find out what people are saying right now about things that are important to you. Like Bellevue, Ballard and Tacoma. And local music, sports and real estate.

In each community section, you can now post your own news stories, events and free classified listings. Can't find your community? Suggest one you'd like to see.

On the home page, you'll find the Citizen Rain blog that combines some of the most interesting stories and links in Western Washington. All in one place.

So who are we? Citizen Rain is a production of KING5.com. No, it's not some mainstream media plot. We love to read Western Washington blogs, but we realized it's next to impossible to keep up with them. So we built Citizen Rain as an experiment. We hope you like it.
